ILLUMINATION STABILO SHINE Artist: STABILO artist collective Title: ILLUMINATION STABILO SHINE Medium: 500 STABILO Shine highlighters, pearls, nylon cords Size: 110 x 40 x 40 cm This idea for this art project first saw the light of day a few years ago – in 2015 to be precise – on the occasion of the STABILO’s 160th anniversary. Their long-standing agency Brandtrust wanted to prepare a surprise to celebrate the occasion. So they asked STABILO to send them a selection of STABILO BOSS ORIGINAL and STABILO BOSS MINI highlighters. They used them to create a huge, approx. 4-metre-high chandelier, an artistic highlight currently on display in the STABILO “CUBE” – STABILO’s marketing building. An equally luminous design was needed to represent the STABILO brand at “The Paris Club Art Experience”. And so the STABILO team took inspiration from the beautiful chandelier made of highlighters. The original is too large for “The Paris Art Club Experience” – and also not for sale – so its little brother was crafted from the new line of STABILO Shine highlighters specially for the occasion.
